When fall arrives, finish your harvest, cut back the plants, and freeze the last of the produce. Dig out the Dutch oven for stews and send the lobster pot downstairs to take its place. Stand back and admire your pantry full of fresh summer preserves. Stock the freezer with extra loaves of banana bread for lunchboxes and weeknight meals for busy school nights. Sharpened pencils and mugs of hot tea mark the start of a crisp, fresh new season.

it's getting there!
I'm getting this blog MUCH closer to where I want it to be, but it's still a slight work in progress. I've been anxious to get this blog up and running efficiently in order to be a helpful tool for myself and others, but it's been hard balancing all of this alongside trying to manage all of life's obstacles and commitments! Thank you so much for your patience!
